I buy generic Tretinoin from India. I buy the gel version because the cream version is more likely to clog pores. I've been using the Retin-A gel 0.025% for a couple years now on my face and honestly I've seen very little improvement, I still have fine lines and constant acne issues. OH and you see that spot on my forehead? Cystic pimple from 3 months ago(!) that never really went away *sigh* I'm now putting Retin-A micro (supatret 0.04 gel) on that spot so we'll wait&see...
*crossing fingers*
So 2016 I've decided to step up my skincare game and I got Retin-A 0.05% gel for my face. I've slathered it all over my face and neck for 3 days- and WOW! apparently my neck skin is a lot more sensitive than I thought! I wanted to put it on my neck because I don't want a tree trunk neck with crepey rings lol but now I have a horrific looking burn rash. So just BEWARE!
I'm going to try the 0.025% tretinoin gel on my neck next, more gentle!
On a good note :-) my boss thought I had caught some sort of contagious rash and let me leave work early lol and my friend almost convinced me I was breaking out in hives because of holiday stress, but no haha, turns out it was the Retin A.
You are too funny! I mix .1% tretinoin with Vanicream Lite Lotion and it works great (1 part tretinoin to 3 parts Vanicream).
ReplyDeletelol thank you! I never heard of Vanicream before but I hunted it down :-D Thank You so much this works awesome on my skin now!
